Sea Turtle Internship Expedition II …….Continues!

Update on the Sea Turtle Expedition – The team arrived Sandy Point, Abaco on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Tavano and Laron the 2  Nassau-based interns talked a bit about their experience. Both interns said the turtle tagging expedition is going spectacular so far,  despite the weather. They went out to Royal island and Corey Sound in search of turtles and caught and tagged 7 hefty turtles that gave them a run for their money!!!! Nonetheless both students are loving the opportunity and love working with Steve! Overall they caught and tagged 21 turtles.

Tavano and Laron will be returning to Nassau today but will be replaced on the expedition by Raguel Nesbitt, Grand Bahama-based intern as they continue on to Moores Island and then Grand Bahama…

Stay Tuned!!!!!!!!
